All residents are reminded that recycling is indeed the law, both statewide and locally. But the benefits of recycling should also be seriously considered. By removing recyclables from the regular trash flow, we help save our environment. And each ton of trash that is recycled helps to save tax dollars that would otherwise be spent on rising trash disposal fees. Read more about single stream recycling.
How to Recycle
Your trash and recyclables must be put out no earlier than 4:00 P.M. the day prior to collection day, but no later that 5:00 A.M. on the collection day.
Residents that need additional containers may purchase them through the GTMUA. Please call 856-227-8666.
All residents are reminded that recycling is mandatory statewide. By removing recyclables from the regular trash flow, we help save our environment and save tax dollars that would otherwise be spent on trash disposal fees.
Recycling is collected on a bi-weekly schedule.
The new single-stream recycling can supplied by the township can hold all of your paper, glass, metal, plastic and cardboard.
Please keep brush, leaves, and grass separate from these recyclables. If you still have your old yellow recycling can, you can keep them to put your leaves, grass or brush in, but they are no longer used for recycling. All residents are reminded that recycling is mandatory statewide. By removing recyclables from the regular trash flow, we help save our environment and save tax dollars that would otherwise be spent on trash disposal fees.
