Gloucester Township | Recreation

The Township pool is located in the Glen Oaks section of the Township, at the end of Roosevelt Dr. Membership is open to Township Residents only. Registrations will be held at the Recreation Center beginning Tuesday, May 1 and continuing throughout the season. The pool & snack bar will tentatively open May 26 for weekends only and will open full-time on June 9th. The pool hours are 12pm - 8pm weekdays & 11am - 6pm weekends and holidays.

Non-Peak membership is valid Mon-Fri 4-8pm & 11am-6pm weekends & holidays only. Proof of residency is required at registration for all adults and adult children, over the age of 18, in your household (drivers license & utility bill). Family membership is limited to the actual number of persons living in your household year-round. It cannot include in-laws, visiting relatives or day-care providers who do not live in your home on a permanent basis. We will verify children using school records.

POOL RENTAL

You can begin reserving the pool on May 1st at 8am at the Recreation Center.

The Twp. Pool is available for rent on Saturday and Sunday evenings from 6-8pm beginning June 2. You must be a Gloucester Twp. Resident to rent the pool. Dates fill up very quickly.

Pool Rates and Rules:

Rental fee is $150 for a Saturday or Sunday from 6-8pm. The fee includes 3 lifeguards.
The entire rental fee is due at the time of booking. No dates will be held without payment.

Refunds will not be given if your reservation is canceled less than 72 hours prior to your party. Refunds requested prior to 72 hours will subject to a $10 processing fee.
In case of rain, you may reschedule for another date or request a full refund. We cannot guarantee that a rain date will be available.

Alcohol is NOT permitted at any time. Anyone bringing alcohol to the pool will be asked to leave and will be prosecuted by the Gloucester Township Police Department.
No Grilling or open flames of any kind are allowed on any Gloucester Township Property.

SWIM LESSONS

Each class is held for 5 weeks. Lessons are for begining swimmers and are taught by our Lifeguards and class sizes are limited. You must register at the Recreation Center for non-member lessons. Class sizes are limited to 5 per Prek & 10 per Swim. Contact us if you are interested in Adult Swim lessons at 856-435-5734.

POOL MEMBERS

Lessons will be held the weeks of June 18, July 9, and August 6, Monday -Thursday (Friday is raindate) before the pool opens. Cost is $15 per week, per child. Members can register at the pool beginning Saturday, June 9.

Veterans Park Track on Chews Landing Rd. is just a little under a 1/2 mile. To equal a mile, you would need to run or walk around the park 2 and 1/4 times.
