Scholarship Committee
The Scholarship Committee provides scholarship money to high school seniors who live in Gloucester Township and are continuing his/her education.
Scholarship Applications:
Scholarship applications are available at the local high schools guidance department. All high school seniors are eligible if he/she lives in Gloucester Township and scored 1200 or higher on the SAT test. See application for further eligibility.

22nd Annual Golf Tournament
October 3, 2008 - 12 Noon shot gun start, putting contest at 11 AM - Cost $100, includes golf, lunch, dinner, prizes and a donation to the Scholarshsip Committee, held at Valleybrook Golf Club
Teen Dances:
All sixth, seventh, and eighth graders are invited to attend our Teen Dances held during the 2008/09school year.
October 17, 2007 ....Scholarship Dance at Mullen
January 30, 2009....Schoalrship Dance at Lewis
March 13, 2009...Scholarship Dance at Glen Landing
Refreshments are available and this event is fully staffed and chaperoned. Doors open at 7:00PM, and the dances end at 9:30PM. Check the school menus and building marquees for reminders.
Looking Ahead:
5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Run:
April 2009, at Veterans’ Memorial Park, Chews Landing Road. The certified course will be police monitored and is flat & fast. Many prizes and post race refreshments. Pre-register at www.lin-mark.com For more info. or to be a sponsor, call Rod Greco, 227-1400, ext. 5100.
Gloucester Township Day 2008
Join us on Saturday, June 7, 2008, as Mayor and Council take the field at Veterans’ Memorial Park when we recognize our Scholarship recipients while enjoying the extraordinary activities provided at Gloucester Township Day 2008. Vendor packets and additional information will be available in February, 2008. Adult volunteers are needed for 2 hour shifts throughout the day to conduct games.
