Gloucester Township Economic Development Corporation
The Gloucester Township Economic Development Corporation leads the community’s economic development program. The EDC oversees an aggressive economic development program and strives to improve the economic climate in the Township by attracting new businesses and helping existing businesses expand. Membership includes key municipal officials and businesspersons. In conjunction with the EDC, the Township offers a variety of services to resident firms, developers and potential relocation prospects, including financial assistance and assistance at the regional and state level, negotiating the permitting and funding processes. Specifically, Gloucester Township and the Economic Development Corporation will:
- Aid in the identification of available federal, state, county and local funding.
- Construct a financial package to utilize one or more programs for financial support.
- Evaluate the likelihood in acquiring necessary approvals.
- Provide personal contact with the agency or agencies considering your application, to expedite the process and assure appropriate consideration.
- Coordinate efforts among all agencies involved.

Annual Business Breakfast
Each year, the Gloucester Township Economic Development Corporation invites business owners and operators from Gloucester Township and all over the region to attend its annual Business Breakfast. The event includes a report on the Township’s economy, a keynote address from a featured speaker, and the presentation of awards to local businessmen and women for their contribution to economic development and the overall enhancement of the Township.
