- The Backwood Façade Program is fully endorsed by the Township Council.
- The program will be a 50/50 matching program with a grant maximum of $15,000 per façade.
- The Township has agreed to allocate $150,000 for this program from both State Neighborhood Preservation Program and the Community Development Block Grant.
- The Township may spend up to $10,000 for an architect to review and comment on the façade plans to insure compliance with the redevelopment design guidelines.
- Our next step is to commence marketing the program to local property owners and meeting with local banks to encourage their participation in the program.
The façade program was announced at the March 11th Business Breakfast.
Applications are now being accepted in the Grants Office in the Gloucester Township Municipal Building.
