JOB OPPORTUNITY

PLUMBING SUBCODE OFFICIAL – Part Time

Additional Licenses Highly Preferred:
ELECTRICAL, FIRE, BUILDING

TOWNSHIP OF GLOUCESTER

Open to NJ Residents

8-12 HOURS PER WEEK
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

$28.00 plus an hour DOQ

Responsible for administering the plumbing subcode of the State Uniform Construction Code within the concerned jurisdiction, and inspects and/or supervises the inspection of plumbing work in construction projects underway to ensure that compliance with plans and specifications approved in accord with the State Uniform Construction Code is achieved; does related work as required.

Applicants must possess a valid license as a Plumbing Subcode Official issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.

Appointees will be required to possess a valid New Jersey driver's license.

Strong consideration for additional licenses including Building Subcode Official license, Electrical Subcode Official issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Electrical Inspector license, and/or Fire Protection Inspector license.

TEMPORARY POSITION

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY

3 to 4 DAY WORK WEEK (max 29 hours/week)
DAYS OF WEEK AND HOURS WILL VARY, INCLUDING WEEKENDS
7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

$10.06 PER HOUR

Under direction of a supervisor, performs various types of manual and unskilled laboring work and may drive a truck in connection with laboring work on occasion; does other related duties as required.

APPOINTEES WILL BE REQUIRED TO POSSESS A DRIVER'S LICENSE VALID IN NJ.
