The Gloucester Township Police Department is committed to providing law enforcement services that are fair, effective, and impartially applied.  Officers are held to the highest standards of official conduct and are expected to respect the rights of all citizens.  Officers' adherence to these standards, motivated by a moral and professional obligation to perform their job to the best of their ability, is the ultimate objective of the Gloucester Township Police Department.

Internal Affairs complaints against a police officer or police department employee are accepted at anytime by an on duty supervisor.  If a supervisor is not available an officer will accept the complaint. 

All Internal Affairs complaints are assigned an Internal Affairs Investigator by the Chief of Police.
