RESOLUTION

DESGINATING INTERNET WEBSITE FOR OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION
PURSUANT TO NEW JERSEY LOCAL UNIT PAY-TO-PLAY LAW
AND AUTHORIZING THE POSTING OF CERTAIN ADVERTISEMENTS THEREON

WHEREAS, the Gloucester Township Municipal Utilities Authority (“GTMUA”) is subject to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq., the New Jersey Local Unit Pay-to-Play Law; and

WHEREAS, the Law (N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.7) permits a Local Unit such as the GTMUA as part of the “fair and open process” set forth therein, to satisfy the advertisement requirements for contracts through publicly advertised notices in newspapers or on the internet website maintained by the public entity; and

WHEREAS, the GTMUA maintains its Internet website at http://www.glotwp.com/government_services/Municipal_Utilities.cfm; and

WHEREAS, the GTMUA desires to designate its website as the official notification source for all contracts to be awarded as part of the “fair and open process” pursuant to the Law; and

WHEREAS, the members of the GTMUA desire to utilize the website for the propose of advertisement of certain contracts under N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Gloucester Township Municipal Utilities Authority as follows:

 1. The GTMUA hereby designates its Internet website at http://www.glotwp.com/government_services/Municipal_Utilities.cfm as the official notification source for contracts to be awarded as part of the “fair and open process” contained in N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq., the New Jersey Local Unit Pay-to-Play law.

2. The GTMUA is not precluded from utilizing its official legal newspapers for notification when it so desires.

3. The notices for the following contracts are hereby authorized to be posted on the GTMUA’s internet website for a period of least ten (10) days prior to the receipt of seal proposals:

 A. Submission of Qualification Statements and cost proposals for supplying genuine replacement parts and accessories from Volvo factory authorized sales firms and providing Volvo factory certified service and technical assistance for the GTMUA’s current vehicle fleet.

 B. Submission of Qualification Statements and cost proposals for supplying genuine Northern Data Systems pumping station monitoring and telemetry equipment, spare parts and accessories from factory authorized sales firms and providing factory certified service and technical assistance.

 C. Submission of Qualification Statements and cost proposals for Truck Parts and Services supplying genuine replacement parts and accessories from factory authorized sales firms and providing factory certified service and technical assistance for the GTMUA’s current electrical power distribution, instrumentation and controls equipment. 

 D. Submission of Qualification Statements and cost proposals for supplying genuine replacement parts and accessories from factory authorized sales firms and providing factory certified service technical assistance for the GTMUA’s current vehicle fleet.

E. Submission of Qualification Statements and cost proposals for supplying genuine ITT Flygt Corporation pumps, spare parts and accessories from factory authorized sales firms and providing factory certified service technical assistance.

F. Submission of Qualification Statements and cost proposals for supplying genuine replacement parts and accessories from Case factory authorized sales firms and providing Case factory certified service and technical assistance for the GTMUA’s current vehicle fleet.

G. Submission of Qualification Statements and cost proposals for supplying genuine replacement parts and accessories from factory authorized sales firms and providing factory certified service technical assistance for the GTMUA’s current specialized vehicle fleet (i.e. recycling trucks, truck mounted hydraulic sewer cleaner, scat machine, packer trucks, etc.). 

H. Submission of Qualification Statements and cost proposals for supplying genuine replacement parts and accessories from factory authorized sales firms and providing factory certified service and technical assistance for the GTMUA’s current emergency generators, transfer switches and appurtenances.

 I. Submission of Qualification Statements and cost proposals for supplying genuine wastewater pump replacement parts and accessories from factory authorized sales firms, providing factory certified service, technical assistance and rental of bypass pumping equipment, temporary piping and appurtenances. 

J. Submission of Qualification Statements and cost proposals for supplying genuine Fairbanks Morse pumps, spare parts and accessories from factory authorized sales firms and providing factory certified service technical assistance.
