Recreation Center Membership Information

The Gloucester Twp. Recreation Center is located  at 80 Broadacres Drive, next to the Cherrywood development.  The Center is open to all Township residents, however, an application must be filled out prior to first use.  Membership cards will be issued and must be brought each open gym session. 

 To apply for a free membership, an adult family member (18+) must come to the Center during office business hours and present a valid drivers license with a Gloucester Township address and a utility bill as proof of residency.  All students , 18 and under, must present his/her school ID before being issued a card.

We enforce these rules so that our Recreation Center is for Gloucester Twp. residents only and NOT for people of neighboring townships or counties.  We do not have a guest policy.

Program Registration Information

º Space is limited for all programs and trips, so  please register early.   In-person  registration is required for all activities.  All activities with a fee require advance  registration.  Make  checks  payable to “Twp. of Gloucester” except where otherwise noted; two separate checks may be necessary.

º Programs are for Township residents only.  Bring a valid drivers license and second proof of residency, such as a utility or tax bill.  Preschool registration also requires a photocopy of the child’s birth certificate.

º Full refunds will be given if a program is canceled by the Recreation Department due to insufficient  enrollment.  We reserve the right to cancel a trip or program if enough people have not registered.

º Program refunds will be given if for any reason you are not satisfied with a program, minus a $10.00 processing fee.  This refund must be requested before 20% of the scheduled classes are complete.  No refund will be given if you withdraw after 20% of the class is done.  Please bring your white receipt to the office for processing.  All refunds take 30-45 days.
 
º Your suggestions and ideas for future program offerings are welcome and we hope to hear your feedback for upcoming programming.

º NOTE:  The Gloucester Township Report is published 4 times a year and mailed out through the postal carrier in your area.  We understand that sometimes you may not receive the brochure.  Ask your postal carrier if he/she has received their portion for delivery. You can stop by the Recreation Center to pick up a copy of the current brochure during regular hours of operation. 

º CANCELLATIONS:  When the Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather, all programs will be canceled and rescheduled.
