GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
As required by regulations set forth by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, regarding the expenditure of Community Development Block Grant Funds, the Gloucester Township Grants office hereby announces a 30 day Public Comment Period for the proposed CDBG 2011/2012 Action Plan. The Township will receive $376,580 in fiscal year 2011 for the following proposed activities:
1. Single Family Housing Rehabilitation $ 130,000
2. Blackwood West Neighborhood $ 50,000
3. Recreation Center $ 79,764
5. Jersey Counseling Service $ 18,000
6. Municipal Alliance $ 10,000
7. Domestic Violence Response Team $ 13,500
8. Administration $ 75,316
Public Comment is invited on the proposed activities for a period of 30 days commencing on April 7, 2011. The Public Comment Period will conclude with a Public Hearing to be held on May 9, 2011 at 5:00 PM in the Council Room at the Township Municipal Building. Copies of the Action Plan are available in the Township Clerks Office, 1261 Chews Landing Road, Laurel Springs, New Jersey, Monday - Thursday, from 8:00 am until 5:45 PM.
