Over the Limit Under Arrest
The Gloucester Township Police Department as part of the annual "Over the Limit Under Arrest" statewide enforcement campaign will be conducting Drunk Driving Enforcement Saturation Patrols beginning August 20, 2010 through September 6, 2010. These patrols are being funded through a grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety.
A concentrated effort to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving through high visibility enforcement patrols to reduce traffic crashes, injuries, and fatalities resulting from drunk driving.
Motorists are reminded that if you plan to drink, designate a driver, someone who will not drink so they are sober to drive before going out to reduce the chances of being involved in a drunk driving related incident.
