VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
GLOUCESTER TWP MUNICIPAL COURT MEDIATION PROGRAM
The court is in need of mediators for the mediation program. The mediation program is a program designed to end disputes without going to court. The mediator encourages discussions between parties so that an agreement can be reached that both parties can accept. Each mediator should be able to volunteer at least one hour per week.
Requirements: Applicants must be over the age of 18, must be able to read and write, must be articulate and have great social skills. Applicants will be fingerprinted and will be required to complete a criminal background check. Applicants will also be required to complete a free 18 hour mediation training course.
Interested applicants should contact the Gloucester Twp Municipal Court Office at 856-228-4000 to receive a volunteer application. September 20, 2010 will be the deadline for applications.
