Gloucester Township's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

Gloucester Township's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

Monday, January 21, 2012

"Make It a Day On, Not a Day Off"

Please join Mayor David Mayer and Township Council on January 21 by volunteering your time to fulfill Dr. King's dream of helping others. As Dr. King once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'" Your participation will allow you to engage in fun and worthwhile service projects that have a lasting impact on our entire community.

For additional information contact Orlando Mercado at omercado@glotwp.com

***We will try to accomodate your preferences as much as possible. If there are other individuals attending with you, please register them separately. You will receive a confirmation of registration and service assignment on Friday, January 18th.***

We are collecting donations of non perishable food for the Food Bank and also bottles of dish soap – 16-28 ounces and scrub brushes – wood or plastic – no toilet brushes or kitchen or dish brushes and sponges – no cellulose – mold resistant is the best, for the Super Storm Sandy project. We encourage all participants doing any service project to bring in a donation of these items.
