Sustainable Gloucester Township Presentation

On Wednesday, May 11th, 2011, at 6:00 PM the Sustainable Gloucester Township Green Team invites everybody to come to a presentation about Sustainable Gloucester Township. The presentation will be held at the Gloucester Township Community Center at the Municipal Building. Mayor David Mayer and Councilwoman Michelle Gentek will be speaking about Sustainable Gloucester Township, including an overview of what Sustainable Gloucester Township is, how Gloucester Township is becoming certified, and how the community can be a part of the effort.

Gloucester Township Day

Come to the Sustainable Gloucester Township booth at Gloucester Township Day on June 4th, 2011. Please think of our planet and consider walking, biking or carpooling to this event! Sustainable Gloucester Township will be promoting the importance of "being green." Members of Sustainable Gloucester Township are very excited to share our committment to the earth with the community!

Please bring your lightly used or new footwear as a donation to the Soles 4 Souls charity. Miss Teen America 2011, Katarina Kneer, is a spokeswoman for Soles 4 Souls and she will be at Gloucester Township day to collect footwear donations. Sustainable Gloucester Township's Green Team will also be at Gloucester Township Day collecting your plastic shopping bags to be recycled, so please bring them to our Green Team booth.
